Pop Tarts + Cookies = Awesome

I. love. Pop-Tarts. I also love cookies, so I thought ‘why not combine the two?’ And so I did.

Now these cookies are a work in progress as I am still tweaking the recipe to make it perfect. So in the meantime, enjoy the pictures and I’ll post the recipe soon!

For these cookies I used strawberry Pop-Tarts because that just happened to be the flavor I  pulled out of the “variety box” in the pantry.

I decided to ice some of the cookies to make them look more like the frosted, sprinkle covered tops of Pop-Tarts.

And strawberry-flavored anything naturally goes with chocolate…….

After I nail down this recipe, I’m thinking Pop-Tart cake is next……
