Top 10 of 2010
Wow! I can’t believe it’s already 2011! This past year was a busy year and brought along many changes such as new jobs for my husband and I in completely different fields than we were previously in. I’m excited for the changes and I’m looking forward to all that this new year will bring.
I meant to post this last week but my husband surprised me with a last minute trip to DC (which was AMAZING!) and then we were off to spend the holidays with friends and family. So without further adieu, here are my top 10 favorite recipes from this past year:
Banana Tres Leches Cake: A tropical, lactose-free version of the popular tres leches cake. It’s very delicious and much healthier than the traditional version!
Coconut Creme Filled Doughnuts: These take a little work but are so worth it!
Chocolate Chip Coffee Cake: This is probably my favorite coffee cake I have ever made. I still need to come up with a lighter version so I can eat this more often 
.
Dulce de Leche Cookies: My husband declared these the best cookies I have ever made!
Dark Chocolate Raspberry Cookies: I made these cookies as a way to use up some raspberry flavored candy I wasn’t too fond of. These were SO yummy that I couldn’t get enough and have made then several time since to use up other types of candy.
Pop-Tart Cookies: Awesome.
Strawberry Buttermilk Cake: A very versatile recipe; use any berry you have on hand!
Of course there are Chocolate Cake Balls!
Pumpkin Brown-Butter Cupcakes: I love brown butter! These babies have it in both the cupcake batter AND the frosting!
And finally, this fanastic Frosting!

Wow everything looks so amazing! I love the cake at the end because it’s festive…reminds me of New Year celebrations. Speaking of which, Happy New Year! I look forward to seeing more of your recipes in 2011.

That’s one awesome top 10! I’m such a fan of tres leches cake, and those pumpkin brown butter cakes look so good! Also, I must try that frosting asap!

Where to start. Wow i think maybe the coconut cream donught, or the chocolate balls. So many fabulous things.
